Nicole Ma

Nicole is a Queer Filmmaker & self taught photographer from Hong Kong.
She graduated from Michigan State University in 2021 with a degree in Film Studies, minoring in Fiction Filmmaking and Philosophy. While at MSU, she was known to be the Director of Photography at VIM Magazine, one of America's top College Fashion Magazines, who mainly focuses on composition and colour.

With her extensive film theory knowledge, as well as practical skills, she immediately started working as an Assistant Videographer and Videographer for HEARST Magazines in Hong Kong, which controls, ELLE, ELLEMen, Harpers Bazaar, Esquire & Cosmopolitan. She created Fashion films and built relationships with known Hong Kong Celebrities.

After, she spent a month learning how to differentiate and sell coffee beans before becoming a Photography Assistant for TatlerAsia Hong Kong.
 At Tatler Magazine, she went from shooting and connecting with local Celebrities to more international Celebrities, being on shoots with individuals such as Gordon Ramsey & David Beckham.
She can speak multiple languages, a cat lover who prefers to put themselves in uncomfortable situations as challenge and is a huge fan of walking.
